  1. Gonzalo Higuaín

His coordination with both feet is remarkable, really. Guy is a walking CF textbook
  2. Hernanes

Couldn't catch the game. How was his passing under pressure and how was his defending/covering?
  3. [Serie A. 7th round] Empoli 0-3 JUVENTUS [2nd October, 2016]

I think he should consider resting Khedira again. He relies heavily on his stamina, and I don't think it's a coincidence his form dropped recently. Also, he'll play for Germany again and it's always a gamble to make him play so many times in a row. Empoli is now a weak team, and Lemina can do...
  4. Serie A 2016/2017

Yes. But honestly, I've never really obseved Masina, can't tell how good he is. The same for Barreca, who is just starting to get some groundhype. Anyway, Dimarco on the left and Calabria on the right, the starters of every Italian NT since U16, are looking very good and there's a real chance...
  5. Winter mercato thread 2016-17

If the parameter is a 3 men midfield with DM - box to box CM - creative CM, ideally you need 3 top quality/experienced starters + 3 good rotation players, preferably with upside to become starters. As it is, I think we are fine in the box-to-box, specially if Khedira can regularly play. Lemina...
  6. Serie A 2016/2017

Btw, Inter in the past 2 years has done a some good business, they practically made a respectable team with players exclusively signed these years. Of course they spent a lot this summer, and they did some dumb shit before (like Kondogbia or Jovetic). They had 2 good players before...
  7. Serie A 2016/2017

Things are shaping up quicky in Serie A. Napoli right now looks like the clear cut 2nd team in country. We have yet to see their stability during the season, but they've never had such a good squad, with a lot of young players. Actually they might have reached their ceilling. They can't keep...
  8. Giorgio Chiellini - Director of Football Strategy

Problem is he's quite unpredictable at this point. He can have monstrous games, where his intensity and domination are off the charts, or blunder games where he is capable of compromising the game by himself. I remember that he was very, very good in our first games this season, completely...
  9. Patrice Evra

haha But yes, he's passable in games like this.
  10. Paulo Dybala

    His own performances
  11. Simone Zaza

Put Mandzukic on West Ham and see what happens.
  12. Simone Zaza

I think he suits the backup CF position much better than Mandzukic, who clearly lost drive. Allegri won't feel obliged to play him every game.
  13. Massimiliano Allegri

    Yep, Palermo
  14. Patrice Evra

    :(
  15. Hernanes

He did well the past 2 games. But they were dream games for a DM. Zero pressure, a lot of posession, very weak opponents. I absolutely dont trust him to play against better teams. Vs Lyon and Sevilla I hope Allegri goes with Lemina. But he deserves other chances against minows though. It's...
  16. Giorgio Chiellini - Director of Football Strategy

Yep, those brainfarts do no good to him. You know they can happen anytime, against any team.
  17. Dani Alves

Top 3 player in this first part of the season. Fundamental for the build up, he's doing better than I expected. But he needs to rest every once in a while, or his performance level will drop.
  18. Juan Cuadrado

    He was OK
  19. Gonzalo Higuaín

What a killer, damn. His finishing technique with both legs and positioning + first touch is just impressive. I dont remember him missing a clear goal so far. He's been clinical. I think his average is around a goal per 90 min. And yes, Dybala needs to approach more, that's for sure.
  20. Paulo Dybala

Great goal, but he had one of the poorest games I can remember. He definitely needs to play nearer Higuain from now on.
