    Arturo Vidal

Must be down to the 3-5-2.

Cuadrado is not a wing-back. He is an attacking player who has been deployed there on occasion. But people who watch Fiorentina will know that they have moved away from using him as a wing-back. Cuadrado has spend far more time playing as a winger or a forward in the last year. People...

I take it you are deciding Allegri's Juve is exactly the same as Conte's Juve, then? There hasn't been enough evidence of what you are claiming under Allegri to try and draw a reasonable conclusion.

Not quite sure what you are basing that on.

    Paul Pogba

He's only doing that when Juve don't have a specialist on the pitch. And I'm only concerned about the likelihood of something good coming from it - not whether it looks a bit shit to the rest of the world. - - - Updated - - - Tevez only seems interested in freekicks pretty close to goal.

I thought Caceres did well on the goal to prevent Mandzukic scoring.

Did it matter in the slightest given the position on the pitch?

Well, if sitting on the bench doesn't get Vidal match fit/sharp, I don't know what will.

I'm not even bothered about swerving it around the wall. There will generally be a space to hit it straight at the 'keeper, assuming the 'keeper isn't daft enough the set up the wall to block his own view (only Casillas does things like that). Just get a shot on target and, like you say, look...

    Paul Pogba

I'd certainly like to see him simply smash a couple of freekicks and see what happens.

    Paul Pogba

I don't like chipping the ball into the box when there isn't an angle. It's too easy to defend. Quite happy for the freekick to be passed to an angle where it is worth crossing from, though. What I dislike is non-speacialists trying to take a freekick like a specialist. Why not just smash...
