Trez has a better first touch, and a better passer. I would pick Trez ahead of Gomez.

He is good, nothing spectacular about him. He lucky to have arguably the best left and right wingers in the world with plenty of support. I don't rate him highly.

Gomez is an average player that is lucky to have a good support in Ribery, Robben, and Muller to score all those tap ins.

I see the mercato shaping as the following. We will get one from these 3 players Cavani, Suarez, and Higuain. In MF, probably Asamoah, and the two youngsters Pogba and Verratti. A CD from a small team as a back up, somebody like Astori. Maybe a LB, for around ~10 millions.
