made some research and they do get an automatic place ...but it means that the fourth place team does not play the CL playoffs instead they play the eufa cup just thought ill let you know...

IMO as many of you said comparing the two players is irrelevant for more than one reason .... and ofcourse henry now is much better for DP did not play for most of the season even when he does play he is not in top form (always back from injury) on the other hand a good comparison would be...

im sure he will be good but i still prefer Lippi to stay one more season

I agree with you but i think the logic was more like to get more money for the team by getting only stars and not strengthen there team as the first reason ..if they wanted to do that they wouldve at least got one good defender.

I have the following quistion about the CL and hope you can help me out: Does the champion of the tournament get an automatic place in next year's CL even if finishing lets say 6th in his domestic league?
