They should rather focus on De Ligt. Rabiot and Ramsey are more than capable to perform in the midfield and they don’t have to sacrifice half the team for them. This team needs workers in the midfield and not stars in my opinion.

I would only sell Dybala if that meant sms/pogba + de ligt ( hope that no one thinks i expect his departure to fund all this) Chiesa would be a great signing, if Douglas costa and cuadrado would leave. Otherwise i can’t see how he could fit. As for James i don’t see how he could improve this...

4312 with him as a cam could possibly suit him, i don’t think he was used as a cam at all last season, which should be his “best” position

For me Dybala was the biggest problem of the previous season, I can’t see James as a signing if Dybala stays, Sarri just needs to find a way to use him. It would be dreadful to watch him fail as a RW again

To anyone who sees James as a possibility, where would you put Dybala? He is terrible on the wing, if Sarri doesn’t find a spot for him as cam or cf, should he be sold to fund Pogba?

I believe khedira was brought in as Vidals replacament, therefore the sale of Vidal was planned all along. I also believe this is the best offer we could get for him in todays market for central mudfielders.
