  1. Best Midfielders

So Roberto Carlos and Figo aren't that good? primo, Del Piero certainly isn't one of the greatest free kick takers in the world today. There's no doubt Beckham has got more power than Del Piero.
  2. Best Midfielders

Sheva, I like your argument on Rui and Sheva. It's very true that a lot of times good footballers who aren't from Argentina, Brazil, or one of the European powerhouses, doesn't get the recognition they deserve. For them, it takes a longer time to prove their worth than someone who can showcase...
  3. Best Midfielders

Only if Zidane wasn't superior to him on the "other areas." finishing-no, shooting-yes, heading-definitely, stamina-sure, tackling-no (Watch some old Juve games, and you'll find out it's hard to get around him, and most of the time he pokes the ball outta you.), marking-right, makes better...
  4. Best Midfielders

Well a playmaker's job is to make plays, no? Your definition of a playmaker seems to be a player who can make plays, attack, defend, score, head, sprint at a dashing speed, or any other aspect of a footballer's game. So a defender has to know how to score goals in order to be a good defender...
  5. Best Midfielders

wingers: giggs, beckham, figo, joaquin, schneider AM's: Zidane, Ballack, Aimar, Totti, Ronaldinho DM's: Vieira, Baraja, Davids, Makalele, Keane (they all are pretty much even)
  6. Best Midfielders

Rickenbacker, in most people's eyes Zidane is the best player in the world. You could argue that Ballack overall is a better player than Zidane - that wouldn't be an illogical argument. But saying Ballack is a better playmaker than Zidane? That's a bit ridiculous. If you think Zidane isn't...
  7. :p To All You Teenagers

    Happy birthday Majed:cool:
  8. Your favourite transfer target.

Adriano is way better than Cavenaghi.
  9. Your favourite transfer target.

Why would wanna risk this great partnership of Alex and Trezegol. If you want a high profile striker why not go for Mutu. He can act as the back-up for Nedved as well. Anyways I don't want anyone until summer when our forward department will be great with Miccoli, and so my pick would be...
  10. Three People

Ah...obviously so that he has someone to play "football" with! I would also include Mia Hamm. That way you kill two birds with one stone.:D 1. My best friend 2. Anna Kournikova (you know, in case i get bored of soccer tennis would do) 3. Mia Hamm
  11. Perugia - Juventus (Coppa Italia)

I think you're exaggerating yourself a bit too much.
  12. avg.team attendance.

Well said. There can be numerous reasons for this choice. Quite possibly politics, something the Italian league is plagued with, is also involved in this matter.
  13. Do you prefer to have a goal scored controversially or a goal ruled out??

Controversial. As long as there'll be no replays available for the officials, controversy should and will be part of football. So as long as it's part of the game I have no problem with a controversial goal. In most games the better team does win.
  14. Italy U21 to play England

wonder who will get sacked (or shot) first. van gaal or trap.....?
  15. Perugia - Juventus (Coppa Italia)

Cause that's our formation ok, then go with a 4-4-2: Chimenti; Birindelli, Tudor (to regain fitness, sh Montero), Fresi, Moretti; Zenoni, Tacchinardi (sh Conte), Baiocco, Zambrotta; Zalayeta, Di Viao man that mid looks aweful with alessio and baiocco
  16. Perugia - Juventus (Coppa Italia)

Conte has played there before a couple of times. He's the worse passer?? I don't know what to say. Anyways, who would be your pick?
  17. Perugia - Juventus (Coppa Italia)

Definitely play our Coppa team. It's their tournament. If we play our 1st team then that would mean we have no faith in them. Coppa Italia is their show, and this game is for them to prove they can turn it around. One exception though....there should be no Salas. It amazing! He just...
  18. Giuseppe Sculli!

If he doesn't get the needed playing time he won't prosper any further. He needs to grow, and he can grow if we allow him to. Miccoli is ready; why do we need him?
  19. Why are Serie A clubs doing well in Euorpe this year?

So you are not a true fan are you? You better not switch over to the Milan forums since they're playing more attractive football nowadays:fero:
  20. Giuseppe Sculli!

I agree with you here Rickenbacker (or Ian is it?). But I wouldn't say he is only as good as Zalayeta. He will great someday, but right now he is nowhere near Mutu or Micolli like some of us portray him to be. He's definitely not ready to take on the duties for next year. He needs some more...
