Presumably Allegri has some say in the players we go after, plus he was the easiest to find a good pic for. I wanted to do Paratici, but couldn't find a good pic back when I first made that.

They lack depth in both fullback positions. Left back is more pressing because they're currently forced to play the right-footed Azpilicueta there, but they could use someone to bench Ivanovic. I could see it happening if we get Cuadrado, but realistically they're better off looking for a LB.

According to Di Culo, Real and Juventus are very close to agreeing to a deal on James. The only thing holding up the deal is Juve-management's insistence that Real buy the player a house of his choice in Turin.

Yep, and I suspect he'll be back to his old self now save for bad luck, seeing as he got through the hurdle of pre-season injury-free and appears to be back to 100% fitness.

He had one bad knee injury, which he was brought back too early from and re-injured. He was then brought back again before he was back to 100% match-fitness and had a few minor muscle injuries(which were expected) and Allegri said he wasn't able to play 2 matches in a row(at that time), which...

Because he had a season plagued with injuries, looked pretty bad when he was fit enough to play and rejected teams which offered more. If he had stayed and played regularly his price could've gone up if he regained his old form, but that would be a gamble and presumably didn't line up with...

You should've just offered first option on your back in exchange for ~1 mil.
