Canna is the best, of that there is no doubt. I just hope and pray that he stays with us. Our defence would be nothing without him. As for the Azzuri, he is their captain, leader, best player and talisman.

This is insane. Why send us down to Serie C1 and a penelty of 15 points, I would have thought sending us down a couple of divisions bad enough. I wouldn't even dock points from Fiorentina, Lazio or Milan. Being demoted is enough of a deterrent.

The problem with asking God for Italy to win is that there is probably some Aussie bloke asking for Australia to win.

True, we would lose a good few of the sponsorship deals, but I think the Juventus name would still attract a good bit of money even if we are in Serie B/C. But as I said it would take longer than a couple of years to recover.

So would I, but does Domenech have the balls to drop the icon of the nation. It's a bit like Brazil with Ronaldo, but they have the quality to carry him.

Serie B would be bearable. We would bounce back wihin a year and we'd be back in business. However Serie C would take a few more years to recover from. Anything below that is not worth thinking about.
