He just doesn't seem to be seeing the ball early at the moment. Usually he'd anticipate the direction of the ball very early and get it right in most instances. There was a game, I think it was against Chievo, where the player shot, missed the target, and Buffon flew the wrong way too early...

I will be crucified for saying this but I don't really care. Buffon has been off the pace for the most part this season. Any clear chances on goal invariably end up being goals. The Buffon of the past would pull off superhuman saves in many of these situations. Gigi will be back.
