How is that different from the previous format when some scrub teams could qualify if they found themselves in an easy group.

Yeah definitely. Every team has a different set of fixtures. So essentially there are 36 such ‘groups’. But every team is part of 8 of these fixture lists, so it’s hard to say how many from each set will finish in the top 8.

Yeah I don’t see us making the top 8. 9-24 should definite be doable. Some of the teams in the first stage are Conference League level.

There is just one group bro. We face 8 out of 35 other teams- 2 from each pot. Our opponents have different opponents than the ones we have.
