I think you're overestimating the level of affection I have towards Rodrigo a bit here. I do rate him as a player much more than most peeps around here and don't get the hate he gets. However looking at the activity in this thread it's the butthurt peeps who seem to care much more ;)

Yeah I think if we go with the trident we need Zakaria there for solidity. McKennie becomes a bit obsolete with the two big men in attack.

I don't think the Higuain signing affected him negatively at all. The Ronaldo signing was far more problematic to him because he lost his status as the main man in our attack and it was difficult to fit in two players who are not at their best defensively.

None of them are runners imo. Need to have someone in that mid who isn't as slow as the three of them. I just don't remember ever seeing Allegri play a midfield that doesn't have at least one physically capable workhorse in there.

Yeah you're right about Sandro, his book value can't be that high anymore. However even without a transfer fee, I struggle to see teams lining up to pay him 6 million a year.
