That's for Marotta to answer. Then again he's the guy who after Allegri in his interviews specifically said he needs a TQ, came out and said we're just looking for a midfielder who doesn't necessarily have to be a TQ.
I think Marotta's getting him just not to be left empty handed at the end of the mercato if in a worst case scenario all of our objectives for the AM fall through.
That's why there's no option to buy. He's not really in Allegri's plans.
Well at least the rate of dreams getting crushed, has improved drastically. In a matter of mere couple of pages we went from "Done Dealio" to "Total Bogus". :tup:

On a serious note, I really don't know how people can keep their hopes up for the last days of the mercato. If anything Marotta's track record shows that we shouldn't expect anything but dogsh!t fill-ins from this part of the transfer window.
