Nothing wrong with your tactics. Very up to date and modern, quite Germanesque dare I say. Just don't think they're very Allegriesque and that's the reason why I have a hard time imagining us play that way.
I think at the start of the season if rumoured transfers go through it'll be:
Vlahovic...
That's not what I said. Allegri will rotate his squad, we're not going to play the same eleven from game to game.
Vlahovic, Di Maria, Depay, Cuadrado and Kostic are quite unlikely to start a single game together this season imo.

We are signing these attacking players because we currently have zero depth in that department. I seriously doubt we're going to play all of them at the same time. We need some attacking players on the bench that can come on during matches and be rotational options with fatigue and injuries.
+ Valoti, Mazzitelli and Barberis
Hopefully both get ample playing time. I think Pessina could play as winger for them though as they have less players for those positions currently.
Based on pre-season we'll use more or less the same formation as we did last season to start this season. Just flipped, so instead of Rabiot playing as a LCM/LM we'll have Weston/Zakaria as RCM/RM and then a proper winger on the left. Di Maria plays the free role in attack and then when we lose...
In other words people will actually watch him play and see what kind of player he actually is.

We pretty much always defend with a 4-4-2 so he'd play in that hybrid LW/LM role. Don't think it's much different compared to the role he has played at Frankfurt.
Vlahovic - Di Maria...
