I agree with what you're saying; but both of those guys, for somewhat different reasons, need to be playing with regularity. With those 5 or 6 on the bench, that will be significantly curtailed (especially in Marrone's case).

If Pirlo stays we need to loan him and Marrone out, that's a bit dependant on what happens to Padoin as well. In the event we do loan them out we need to have a stipulation where we can terminate either loan in January in the instance we have any injury issues..

Not to mention he's our fastest defender as well; and being Uruguayan has a lot of experience playing against Neymar and Messi and is teammates with Suarez.
