Nah come on. Years and years of this guy dribbling with his head down, passing backwards on counters and hitting crosses into the sky. He can only play as a 6 in a good team.
He's a cherry on top type of player. I don't think he's the engine of a good team but if you're already good, you want this guy because he finishes like a striker
I refuse to believe the terms of Di Lorenzo. For Rabiot, it might be a case that renewing him for 2 years to play as a #6 is more cost effective than finding a new DM.
Otherwise if these are actual solutions in mind, we're fucked
