There are a lot of bands who don't have a keyboard player (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd...), and there are who got one (Deep Purple). It depends on ur style, of want to include a keyboard there's nothing wrong about it. My bands play metal and rock stuff which don't need a keyboard.. and dont know...

You need a drummer, bassit, and two guitar players (Rhythm and lead) and sure the vocals (who can be one of the guitar players). You don't need a keyboard. I dont know, it's up to you.
