Squad wise Milan is no where near these 4, they don't really have that killer striker, no one to link the defense and attack. And since they play Montolivo out of position they don't have a tranquilista etiher. I won't be surprised if they finish 6th or something.

Love it how JSC English commentator was going about him being "old school" defender and that he doesn't really care what happens to the striker. He's an absolute rock.:agree:

I kind of agree. Pirlo wasn't really on his best but he kept their players busy which gave our other midfielders more time and space. He has to be rested. Not only for the sake of him being 34 and playing every possible game for Juve and Italy, we never really played many games without him...

I've seen Pirlo getting dribbled A LOT worse than that. I mean he's not known for his defensive skills. And as great as Oscar played, at the end of the day people will put a man to mark Pirlo not Oscar.:wink:

He's just brilliant! Marathon man was all over the pitch! He's really unrecognized in Europe which actually helps us a lot. He needs to take over Pirlo's job when he's marked (Which is going to happen more frequently this season) like this game and he also did it against Malta. What a pass to...

Wasn't his best performance. I think crowd got to him a little bit early on the game, he got better by time but he's just much better than that.

Didn't have a good game but his presence is why Vidal and Marchiso had so much time on the ball. Oscar was following him everywhere(Literally) and he was also zonal marked by Torres in front of the defense and Mikel in the midfield. He needs a rest nonetheless.

Great game from him! I've been wondering how he is going to perform in the CL. Stole the show from Oscar and he did all that with one foot. Brilliant. Man of the match IMO.
