Even last season Del Piero was a lot more effective, like Martin said. Overall Zlatan was more important, but that was mostly due the fact that Capello wanted him to be more important. If you look at the facts, they were about equal with a slight advantage to Del Piero.

To anyone who says Del Piero is overrated: he's soon going to be our all time topscorer. I think I've said enough.
