    Xabi Alonso

Oh - Thanks. All those guys werent even ringing a bell in my head. Is buffon right in saying Aquilani will turn out better than Xabi? Though they play differnt midfield roles imo since Aquilani is more box-to-box and Xabi is more deep lying playmaker who dont particularly tackle well eg Pirlo...

That and also the fact (not sure if its fact though) that I cant remember a single Spanish international regular playing in Serie A....infact, cant really remember ANY Spanish player playing in Serie A now and in the past

I'm also still of mixed givings concerning him - I think the cost is a lot for a person who wont be our primary striker. I know its good for depth but it just sux imo that he might not be a regular for these amounts and ends up like our Suazo. Hopefully he turns out like Toni or somethin. I just...

I am personally a fan of Di Natale. I like his speed, technique and passing. I also feel he has a a good understanding with Toni (think its 10 goals in 6 games for the pair). I dont get this "he's a choker" business or more accurately where it is derived from. Italia played Scotland in quite a...

I'm not too keen on the thought of 7 stripes - that sounds like too many. 5 is best imo

Man, that shirt with Fiat is freakin awesome...there is none of that bullshit colour clashin you have with New Holland If that post of the desciption of next year's kit is true, then I wonder if FIAT will still be in red for CL. And why is necessary for shirt numbers on striped CL jersies to be...

I agree with the Grosso part. I dont know why people think he sux so much. Panucci might be better defensively (which is even arguable on its own coz the dude can be such a liability) but I think their difference in this aspect is slight compared to the difference in attacking and crossing class...

Its a bit harsh by Don to chose a provisional squad where only 1 person shall receive the cut. I'm 80% sure this person is Montolivo though

Agree there. DP is the only experienced head upfront here. I dont think we can rely on Borriello or even Quag when a game gets to grinding levels like games against France ususally do

If IQ doesn't leave, we will have one hell of a forward line next season if this deal comes through. That with Giovinco in the mix could be just ludacris! Still worried bout the backline though

Yeah I guess. Ambro has had a far better season than Gatusso in terms of consistency - probably even Pirlo too. I also think he has better technical ability than Rhino. The lob he pulled of for Bonera against us (after which Bonera squared to Inzaghi for their 2nd goal) is something Gatusso...

But spectacular goals dont frequent themselves the way spectacular performances or untidy goals do and in a tournament where it takes 6 games to win, i think its more important to have the performers and the guys who get the job done in whatever way

As things stand in terms of speculation, DP would be the only experienced striker to go to the Euros and I dont know how wise that would be. Its unfortunate that Boriello might go just because he's the closest Toni-like striker in stature even though his finishing is no where near imo. Him and...
