[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

It seems that Trezeguet is back for the Ajax clash, according to Juventus.com I doubt he will get the nod ahead of Amauri though, and rightfully so.

He will have to prove himself, on the pitch, to stay, as Juve manager, beyond these 6 months. I really wouldn't mind, if he can take us out of our recent slumb and compete for the Scudetto next season - he has won it once before, which makes him far more credible than Ranieri.

[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

We have Melo who babysits the defense and rarely goes forward and then we have the ever-so hardworking Sissoko. They will shield our defense and take the sum of defenders up to 5. In addition to that we have the wingers, who aren't really attackers or defenders. Is it just me or do you guys...

All excuses :P. C. Ronaldo is doing fairly well as a winger, so is Messi. They aren't exaclty midfielders but not strikers either. In the end goals and assists are what matter for AMF and up.

[EUROPA League] Ajax 1-2 JUVENTUS (Feb. 18th 2010)

We were pretty solid yesterday, apart from set pieces. If we get Sissoko and Melo, in midfield, along with Caceres and Zebina on the wings, then we basically have a 5 man defense, at least. The only reason we are leaking so many goals is because we lack confidence. We started out with the best...

Probably not. What I'm trying to say is, there is no use in just employing the, entertaining, dream team, with Giovinco, Del Piero, Diego, Camoranesi, etc. We need a solid defennse/midfield and any decent strikers, ie Del Piero & Trezeguet/Amauri, can do the job. We don't know how well Zacc...

Come on guys, I would rather see Juventus win 1-0, for the rest of the season, than drawing 4-4. The formation Zac is implementing should be good in the long term. We need to win games, at the moment, not play entertaining football.
