Does the trade deadline, as it is set for Nov 14th, foresee the 2-day buffer period (to protest, etc) i.e. trades filed by the 14th and completed by Nov 16th or not (trades to be filed by Nov 12 and completed by the 14th)?
If you look at all my trades so far, I think have always offered fair or even superior value at the time of the trade. Just because I may have made a good read, here and there, on how it may play out in the future, doesn't mean I low balled anyone :)
Anyways, just to give you an example: Watkins+ one of WR Allen or WR Evans (both target leaders on their resp. teams) + one RB Jennings/Jackson/Mckinnon (first two are currently injured but should be back for week 11). If I'd have to let Jennings go, I'd probably prefer Lynch over Bell (have to think about that).
I think that's more than fair value. Let's face it, hype aside, Lynch has been rather inconsistent this year, while Bell is a chain mover, not a TD machine, on an increasingly pass-oriented Offense - very valuable in real-life footy but more on the overrated side of things in fantasy, imo.
Yeah, I feel ya ... and thanks for Watkins (so far), btw, would have brought it up myself but didn't wanna come off as too cruel :D
I can offer you a trade to improve your WR woes (with an RB as makeweight) but it would require a bit of gutsy call on your side as it would involve losing either Lynch or Leveon Bell (you pick the sacrificial lamb) :P.
Let me know if you wanna hear more details on this ...
wasn't sure which part you were referring to, Mr clarification police :P
How come it won't? a day or two ago I made a trade with Dru in the same way in a matter of a couple of hours and had Jennings on my roster the very same day. What's so diff now considering none of the players involved has played yet?
it won't go thru for this Thursday? I can improve the offer :klin: but if it can't happen for Thursday, it'd be of no use to me. So, clarification por favor :P
OK, my other trade plans didn't come to fruition thanks to bye-week constraints :(
I guess Hill would be as good an option as any at this point, even if Bernard were to play. You still up for a Hill - Mckinnon trade?
oohoo, is this an in-depth strategic approach I am seeing here :D
I will paste Salvo's ass one way or the other, the only question here is if that fucker Bernard will play or not? :P
A trade of course. Hill is a short-term rental, we both know that. If you are gonna bench him with Forte back, you might as well get another Rb, who's already a starter on his team.
Just inquiring right now, still mulling over another trade proposal that could also get me out of them murky bye-week waters :D. And I can always get desperate and resort to free agency too :P
Yo, inquiring about the availability of Jeremy Hill via a trade. Need a RB to get me thru bye-week hell :( ... as long as Gio Bernard ain't back, I guess :P
Willing to offer RB McKinnon in return.
Not sure Lynch is worth a WR1 at this point, at least not to me, that is. Considering the rumors of the Hawks likely moving on from him next year, I doubt they ride him like crazy till the very end and then just orphan all of a sudden their O in 2015 from it's centerpiece. That means his role may well be reduced in the 2nd half of the current season. And that's on top of his sub-par production lately.
And my WR1 (D Thomas) is worth to me no less than a Forte + Marshall right about now, maybe even more, which is a price I doubt you'd be willing to pay. Quite frankly, I don't think I can let go even of Sanders (has blossomed into a WR1 himself lately) for Lynch, all things considered.
Maybe someone else would be willing to do it but would be tough. Mixing and matching on a week-to-week basis could be the best route to go for the time being if you want to wait it out with Lynch.
I lost two weeks in a row with a combined diff of less than 4 pts, iirc ... so, as the good book says: Take a number, Sir :D.
As for a QB, you already have Ben the Rapist, no? He should do while Romo is getting his spine rearranged and glued back together :D.
Best I can offer in that department is Stafford, who was having an uneven season till two weeks ago but has been solid now that Golden Tate's found his place in the O and could well be a top 5-6 QB with a healthy Megatron to throw to after the bye (this week). Imagine that feeling of doubled points from Stafford throwing a TD to Tate .... mmmm mmm :klin: :D
