i rate the holland team at least in the top ten of the world and drawing infront of ur 50,000 home fans is good in any ones book as well as having ten men for last 30mins!

I'd say it was a messy game beyond anything. Neither side impressed me and if players start injuring themselves (what the hell was Sneyder doing?) you know you're gonna lose the advantage. That said, Wilkshire's tackle on Van Bronckhorst was something that should have been saved for a match that mattered, not a friendly where both teams above all want to stay healthy for the upcoming World Cup.

Australia can try their best to do some damage, but it won't do them any good against Brazil. Brazil are two leagues above the Netherlands, if not more. Guus Hiddink knows how to hit the Netherlands, he has coached them himself, he IS Dutch. With Brazil, he won't be as valuable and I doubt he'll have enough tricks up his sleeve to prevent a loss. But that's no biggie; anyone could and most would lose to Brazil these days.

Japan you will beat. I'm sure of it. You're just better than they are as I see it.

That leaves Croatia. Much as I don't appreciate them; I think they are at least on equal footing with the Netherlands, but they will play a hell of a lot more organised and they don't have our sloppy defence. You'll find it hard to get anything past them and their counter attacks are knife-sharp. I think you will lose, leaving you in third place.

But then, what the hell do I know. I also thought Korea wouldn't get very far last time despite Guus Hiddink. The man is unpredictable...

aussies drew v holland respect it!
It really didn't look like the Dutch were giving their best. The Aussies played awfully. So many misplaced passes, unforced errors, defensive blunders... etc etc. I hate how the Australian media talks the result up like it was a hard-fought draw, when in truth we were dominated all over the park and the scoreline was flattering at best. I kind of wish we'd gotten smacked 4-0 or thereabouts, just to give the team a wakeup call. Complacency is the mother of all !@#$ups...

I beg to differ. Japan are full of confidence going into the tournament, and they're in pretty good form too. Definitely not a definite...

I think Hiddink will use the right tactics to get past Japan. It's not undo-able.

On mach it was messy but was a very entertaining encounter i thought! We played hard and thats what we do best..Wilkshie will not get a game again i suspect even tho he did set up the opening for Viduka and the penatly! We struggled to control the ball i must admit holland put wonderful pressure in first half but died off in second which helped us! We can certainly play betta than that and also Holland, Holland should have won even with a crowd of 50,000 that is worth a goal or two! so to draw in holland is a decent result for australia no matter how we where outplayed! As we where playing away and a team with very gifted individuals i didnt expect any think less!

yer i agree on most parts! I think we also beat Japan i dont c us loosing! Croatia a draw at best or a win if croatia dont turn up to play as they sometimes do and brazil a respectable loss at best! that leaves with 4 points i believe and a chance of the next round!
