and this is the last one for hungary too. i watched it as a kid and i never thought it would take more than 30 years to see either teams at a world cup again. happy for them, the wait is over. forza canada @Post Ironic @Mark @MikeM @Cerval and all other canadians here (i hope i got it right)

Vielleicht, vielleicht auch nicht.

lol apparently the players have planned some protest shit. Now I'm curious what kind of bullshit it's gonna be.
I'm very disappointed in the European FA's so far.

Look, I'm not the biggest fan of armbands and stuff to support LGBTQwhatever rights or talk about discrimination. I just don't think football's the best platform to raise awareness. But if you're going to do it out of principe, at least stick with it. If your principles are so weak you can't stand by them if you might get a yellow card, perhaps they're not really principles at all.

Apparently the punishment would have been worse. Flick openly talked about how they were fine picking up yellow cards for it and just having a different captain for each game. But I agree.

Honestly I wouldn't even care if Belgium did it and were excluded from the tournament. If you think about it, it's crazy even how none of the participating countries seem to value human life above football. It is a tournament that has cost dozens of people their lives. And the only response you get, is that politics and football should not mix. Insane.
