The point you're ultimately landing at is that we should have two inside forwards. That is your only point. You've conveniently skipped over my point of the defender not quite knowing which way Nani will go if he is on the RW. I think this discussion has run it's course

And that hypothetical babbling, which way Nani goes or not, is just meaningless and proves nothing. If it would be like you said, players like Nani would score tons of goals every season from right flank. And how many goals Portuguese has scored like that so far? Can you tell me? And compare this number to goals scored by Robben. You are arguing against obvious thing, that it's much easier to cut inside from right flank and shot on the goal if you are left-footed.
Losing immobile and signing morata isn't the worst thing we can do. IMO Morata is the bigger talent and I'm sure he's eager to leave madrid considering the sheer lack of game time he receives. He'd be a great player to get our counter attacking back into order. He also has the size to make quality wide play worth it. His contract also ends in a year so we should get him on a good deal.
People don't seem to understand that youngster represent an opportunity for clubs to get more value for a player than they'd normally get. These 28 or 29 Year olds are proven entities so are priced correctly. The only way to get a bargain is if someone has a contract that's running out. Lots of kids are extremely talented but not proven at the highest level. Give them a chance and then reap the rewards. Look what we've done with Pogba, even if his contract at united hadn't run out they still wouldn't have gotten a fraction of the cash we'd get if we sold him.
The youngsters market gives us the opportunity to maximize our investment. Look at what dortmund did when they got in kagawa, lewa, gundogan, hummels, subotic, and bender. They even managed to win 2 bundesliga titles and reach a CL final without a real major investment.
Ofcourse not all youngsters are worth this sort of faith but there are some out there that are. We could save a lot of money while also seeing our team improve to heights where we all wish they were. The padoins of this world are taking us nowhere and neither are the plethora of experience midtable dross that we're linked to and sign most of the time.
