If it comes to needing a replacement, Xabi Alonso would make a fine job of it.
I dont know, bear with me for a moment

So currently we got a goddamn strong 3man midfield right ?
But as we noticed, without pirlo, we kinda struggle to build up the play, even with bonbon long balls.
SO in short, we could say we need pirlo as a regista/deeplying playmaker, cause vidal and marchisio arent that good at making the play.

Now, thing is, we got pogba. He kinda replaces marchisio in the future, hopefully beeing defensively and tactically around as good, with added aireal strenght.
BUT most importantly, we have seen Pogba's cool on the ball. He can collect it and play it on, and he will do that much better then the other two did.
He's not a playmaker, but without pirlo, the build up will be better.

SO why am i saying this ? We'll because currently we need a deep playmaker, but with vidal-pogba, when pogs has matured and developped more, we dont neccecarely need the playmaker to be that deep on the field.
We could very well have a playmaker who playes a much more advanced role then pirlo.

A trequartista, or a regular CAM, it can all work.

Pogba has shown he has that long ball skill, and shows alot of talent in distributing it. So we wont have that many trouble finding our CAM/treq or SS(tevez) in order to build up the play.

Furthermore, a CAM/treq has the distinguished advantage, that we have more finishing skill up front.

So yeah, xabi alonso could be nice, especially on a low price, BUT, if we want to keep vidal-pogba and build an empire around it (we should) we dont need to replace pirlo with a regista as long term solution.
No, we could replace him with a short term regista solution, to ease the transition, and a long term CAM/treq solution.

I think exactly the same Zach. You're making too much sense today

Next year, if we can't sign Verratti, I'd love to sign Hamsik or Pastore. I think that Pastore would fit us better but any of them would be amazing, either to play 3-4-1-2 or everyvbody's sexual fanstasy aka 4-2-3-1
More chance of Napoli signing Marchisio than Juve signing Hamsik.

4-2-3-1 means eighter tevez or llorente up front, and the striker we need would be a combination of both.

3-4-1-2 is the way to go.

Hamsik, lets not mention napoli players, as cavani would be the ideal one for 4-2-3-1.

No, there are a few players out there, who are great for the 3-4-1-2.

Pastore comes to mind. Many others to.

Why not modric+xabi alonso from real madrid, if they'd want to sell modric to buy a new shiny cam ?

Well

ozil, modric, isco, kaka...

Fine, the brazillian is only there cause of his fat contract, but 3 for one place, that seems to much. Unless carlo is thinking of using his xmas formation.

It all depends on the formation really. 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-2-1.

I'd gladly take one of those 3.

I don't really mind about Juve getting a trequartista, but Juve will go in for Verratti again in the next few years and I think it would be simpler to bridge the gap if it needed to happen.

A trequartista could take away the freedom Marchisio and Vidal get by linking with the strikers, but if Draxler becomes an opportunity, accelerate with it. I don't think Pastore will be good enough for Juve.

Partly yes.

Ancelotti first played him in his position in a 4321 and he was as inconsistent as Vucinic.
Nedved and zidane took 6 months to settle

The problem with these rapist pedophile oilfunded teams, is they purchase 10 players per position, and expect it to work from day one, or they're gone
