I really liked this guy in Bordeux, he was a world beater there. Dare I say, I thought this guy had the makings of another Zidane. The kind of player that Milan were hoping he'd be.

He's been dogshit for Lyon the past few years though. Plenty of anaemic performances for them.

I think he would give us the ability to do something different when Pirlo is out for whichever reason and im sure Conte can whip him into greatness. and for free? why not.

Encouraging move to have Boakye as 5th striker but i wonder if he's going to play much.It'd be awesome if he can do a 'Pogba' though , i mean in terms of finding playtime like Pogba found last year or atleast come close to that.(Not saying it will happen but it'd be wonderful if he can eek out a dozen starts atleast provided he impresses).The management must clearly see the talent in him if they want him back.

I thought he'd take the next step in his development when he signed for Lyon, but he just regressed. I think this guy, if he played to his potential, would be a great addition to any squad. However, it seems when the pressure is on he just folds like a house of cards. Conte can work wonder with players who have a fighters mentality, even if they just are'nt talented enough. Gourcuff, I'm afraid is just not mentally strong enough for Conte's methods.

Nope.
He's a huge talent imo.great player,if we only have made a move for him...

The problem with him is, he just can't put consistency in his performances.
one mathc, he is great, the next 2-3 matches, he is just unvicible.
That is also why he still is at Ajax and still is seen as a talent.
Don't know if he has what it takes to amke it in the big teams, I doubt it.
