Meh, fighting for foreigner in germany is another this than fighting for german in germany. They all want Bayern after all. Especially young germans.
True.. And naturally so. If the talent is above average we have the chance of raising the offer to the one of Bayern, but still - they all want Bayern as you said it..

Di Marzio says we're interested in Goretzka and Ginter but Bayern are likely to get them.
Goretzka is top priority at Bayern and they are after him since years and all signs are indicating he will go to Bayern, but Goretzka made it clear, that he will finish high school first definitely staying at Bochum until summer 2014..very loyal and down to earth guy who refused several offers from top clubs over the years. I guess they will try to buy him this summer and then loan him back to Bochum for another season. Anyway Bayern and Juve are not alone here, all big club are monitoring him closely. His role model is Kroos.

Ginter is a promising CB, but I havent heard any interest from Bayern and they will get Kirchhoff on a Bosman next summer, so IF they go for another CB, then i doubt it would be another youngster.

oh man not you again, the 'i dont want drogba because he is black and too old for Juve' now 'i don't want a world class striker who is a selfish prick at Juve'

do you support barcelona or something?
Not you again ? Let's buy every over-the-hill striker since they're the only ones that we're capable of buying instead of actually doing something decent with our money for once.

Decent like who? Every decent opportunity that we've been presented with so far you have scoffed at
Drogba and Ibrahimovic are not opportunities, they are short-term stopgaps that make supporters dream. Only in the mind of some shortsighted and easily turned on people, they are actually possible. I'm perfectly fine with (more) realistic options like Sanchez or Jovetic to couple with Llorente.

Fair enough. He is 5 years younger, and has massive potential. We shall have to disagree then :D

I am an ardent JoJo fan, but Muriel + Sanchez while getting rid of Gio sounds more appealing to me ;)

Don't think getting rid of Giovinco would be that easy in the first place. The boy obviously wants to stay.

As it stands, I think we'll have many problems offloading any of our strikers, even Quagliarella. The guy thinks he's the third coming of Ronaldo.

Fuck him.

How did you figure out the second part?

I love Quagmire but I don't see him staying another season if we manage to get wc striker. Clearly, Conte does not rate him too highly. He's consistently been last in the pecking order even when in good form. Vucinic, Lorente, Gio, matri, and a world class striker would have enough quality to see us through that upgrade in quality we're looking for.

Another thing is that if you look at what our strikers each individually offer, it's easier to let go of Quag than the rest. Although to be honest, he was never given a proper chance here.

I'd get rid of all of our strikers, if it meant bringing in quality, without hesitation. Unfortunately, it is never that easy, and I doubt many teams will be interested in our forwards, and those that are can't afford their wages.
