Perhaps so, but their squads are superior to ours. Barca, Madrid, City, Chelsea, Bayern, and to a lesser extent PSG are most definitely the teams I'd like to avoid until the later stages. Anyone else, and I think we should be too strong for them.
I just think you are missing United here. They're among the best of the world now with RVP, and if that kid Cleverley is healthy enough to do the dirty work in the midfield.

Also, PSG cannot be in that elite group yet. They've got good players, but we don't know they'll going to be as team. They look unbalanced, with weak defensive players.

So to me it's Madrid, Barca, United, City, Bayern, Chelsea. Actually I think Chelsea is a little bit below the others, have to see how signings will fit.

Apart from these 5 teams, we can play face to face with any other team in the world. Our expected spot should be 4th finals - if we are lucky, semi finals.

It's so unfair on Tottenham though. I can't help but feel sorry for them; they played the better football, deservedly finished 4'th, and then Chelsea stole their spot by playing some of the most disgusting football ever witnessed by man. Life is cruel.

We really should've had at least 4, if not 5 CL titles by now. That loss to Dortmund still baffles me, the loss to Madrid the following year with that offside goal is inexplicable. How we lost two finals before most of us were born still irks me, and that penalty heartbreak to the Devilish scum was massively disappointing; had Nedved not been suspended for that match, we would've owned them.

 remember him cryin' like yesterday in the 3-1 match against Madrid. it was like he knew it. we really should think about this cup finals and that's why i didn't like the match against Napoli in the cup and super cup. cause we didn't approach a final with the right attitude. hope we can change this legacy of losing finals. cause we deserve better stats than this scumbags Madrid and Milan.

There's no need for another wingback.Asamoah is the new wingback for 3-5-2...
I've seen a few people saying this and I disagree with it.

Asamoah was brought in so that Juve could rotate their midfield to keep it fresh, with only two of Asamoah, Marchisio and Vidal playing at a time.

If you play all three of them you are not going to be able to achieve that same rotation.

If you want to view Asamoah as the LWB, you need another CM to be brought in to keep the balance of the squad.

True, but I don't see Asamoah playing there all the time, nor do I see us always going with 3-5-2.
I see the 3-5-2 as our main formation, and i see Conte using the 4-3-3 only when looking for a result in the second halves of games. We didn't at any occasion this preseason try the 4-3-3 even with the shortage of defenders we had. Such a shame really.

Well we didn't have anyone who could play as the RWF in the 4-3-3 who was available during pre-season. Conte showed last year that having two systems was important to him.

Giaccherini is capable of playing that role i guess, even Giovinco could've been used there with one of Vuci/Giacc as LW. I hope you are right tough and we'll be playing with the 4-3-3 more often next year as i think it's the formation that suit us best and hopefully will play something like this next year.

It's like a hybrid between the two formation.

Vucinic----Llorente----Isla

Marchi----Pirlo----Vidal

Lb----Chiello---Barza---Licht.

Buffon.
