Just clarifying, for me a number 9 is a centralforward/striker, players who can solo lead the frontline, or can play as the deepest player when paired with a shadowstriker

Tomas Müller
Van Persie
Drogba
Falcao
M. gomez
eto'o
ibrahimovic
Higuain
rooney
benzema
messi (plays as 9 at barcelona atm)

Drogba, Rooney, Muller, Eto'o, Ibrahimovic, Falcao.

Are not as good as Cavani.

Higuain, Benzema and Messi you have a case for.
Hmm , i think falcao is the best at the moment , still i think that rooney , eto'o , ibra are better players in general than cavani

You are beeing sarcastic right ?

ibrahimovic, who singlehanded takes a inferior inury ravaged milan side, competing in all competitions, over juventus in the tables for quite a while now, who has allways won his team the league since like forever.

Rooney, who was allready banging in goals at an inferior everton side, actually making CL, in a strong epl. and keeps on doing that, who led his team with ronaldo to the CL

eto'o, who has rivalled drogba for years as world's best powerfull striker

drogba, simply the archetype of the strong scoring forward, even at his current age still scores vital goals

Mullar you have a case for. the rest, not

Better players yes, not better goal scorers though.
rooney and ibrahimovic arent better goalscorers then cavani ?

fuck i am looking at the scoring charts upside down ?

he would, but since that wil never happen, i'm beeing realistic

and about them selling him for 30

dont fool urself, entire europe saw napoli's run in the CL

he will go for 40ish, and napoli surely dont have to sell to us

I agree with this , not a chance for 30 mil , if napoli sold him for 30 mil to begin with and to us to conclude it , delaurentis won't have a long life , they will burn him alive unless he starts living in another city

I'd add Lisandro López to that list, I know not many would agree on him around here. But he's my favorite No. 9 player at the moment.

I'm somewhat sceptic about Cavani to be honest, he's been in a great form for the past two seasons for Napoli but I've got that odd feeling that it's just that (great form period). Looking at his stats with Palermo and national team, it's not really that impressive....
