I can't really judge at this point as I haven't seen Sturaro on more than one or two occasions tbh. But having him as a backup for Romulo (since he's injured)? I don't see what's wrong with that. I wouldn't really mind that.

But as for Zaza I honestly have no clue why would we do that? Loan out Coman to get Zaza? Lol, we have Tevez, Llorente and Morata capable of scoring goals. What we need is somebody behind them, which is exactly Coman and not Zaza. I'm gonna hate that move if happens. Not because Zaza would come (which is pretty pointless gotta say) but dropping out Coman.
yeah, i agree. sturaro would be great imo and the paulinho rumors would finally go away :p.

i can´t really figure out the zaza deal (if it happens) as well. one point is that right now llorente and morata don´t really seem "capable of scoring goals" :D.
maybe we think that zaza could work well in a partnership with all of our other strikers whereas playing morata - llorente looks kinda questionable?!
having said that, giovinco doesn´t seem to be leaving now and zaza doesn´t really look like a 1:1 replacement for him anyways.

i like zaza a lot but right now i don´t really get it.

Whats the bloody point in spending 15+ mill just to not improve our team?
The ONLY way Zaza deal makes sense... Or "makes sense" is if we're really planning to sell Llorente. Which is... I don't know... I just can't see that happening :boh:

As for Zaza, I've seen him a couple of times and I didn't get an impression that he'd improve us. For such a heavy price tag I'd say he's overrated. In Italy you can hardly buy a striker or a DC for less than 15mln. Bonucci, Ogbonna, Destro etc.

Even to sell Llorente as bad as he has been this season for zaza is hardly an upgrade. There is no way we would get 15 mill for Llorente to fund the zaza move so once again we are spending money on not upgrading the team in an area which we are well covered in tbh. Even so would zaza displace morata?? I doubt it so really we are buying more bench players

Montoya's agent: Since the last time we spoke to Barca he (Montoya) has played 4 times. That makes us happy but our idea is the same -- he wants to leave the club and we're waiting for offers

i don´t think there is much to it anyways. as far as i can see only sportmediaset and some other random newspaper mentioned it (?).
probably just because of the supposed interest of tottenham in zaza.
but i can definately see him coming here in the summer. i remember a di marzio article about him that said that paratici is basically in love with him ^^.

in the summer i can see something like this happening if pogba isn´t sold:
the formation means pretty much nothing as it can be viewed as a 4312 as well. so get off my back.

some possible changes:
- one "big" signing like jovetic or the armenian.
- maybe a change in the CB department: will rugani come back this summer? can barzagli play one more year? can forum favourite schär overcome his love for inter?
- will rubinho renew?

this is pretty much what i expect to happen. we didn´t spend much last summer but have a lot of commitments for this summer. napoli´s and roma´s failures made us quite some money so i´m not really sure how realistic that is ^^.

A Swedish blogger/journalist had an article the other day if Juventus sold Pogba how will they look like. He k the possibility of selling him to PSG in exchange of Cavani and Verrati and also took another possibility but that was with many other outcomes so I will refrain from presenting it. However, in both (all) cases he insisted on selling Llorente and that's the squad he ended up with

Goalkeepers: Buffon, Storari, Leali:
Center backs: Bonucci, Ogbonna, Chiellini, Barzagli, Rugani.
Wide backs: Lichtsteiner, Caceres, Evra, Kolarov.
Midfielders: Pirlo, Verratti, Marchisio, Vidal, Pereyra, Asamoah, Paulinho, Romulo.
Forwards: Cavani, Tevez, Morata, Berardi, Coman.

I watched Montoya against R.Sociedad when Barca lost 1-0 .He didn't impress me at all.He was nearly the worst player on the pitch,at least talking about Barca players. He was so ripped off by the Sociedad attackers. Not convinced at all.

No, you're just looking at this too narrow. Llorente makes 4,5m per year. Which is 9m gross per year. Zaza would make -what- 2m or something. That's only 4 per year. Even if Llorente is sold for only 10mil, you're break even after one season.

@MikeM Asamoah is NOT out for the rest of the season. Last update had him returning the end of february.

zaza just renewed his contract and apparently earns 1.1m after tax.

Llorente and Zaza are two different matters. One is our starter, the other will never be a starter for a club like Juve. So if we sell Lorente we should buy a WC striker, regardless of acquiring Zaza.
Buying zaza is more relevant to Giovinco's departure. Which still would be a pretty stupid idea to spend another substantial amount (15mil) on yet another benchwarmer. We've already flushed 20mil down the toilet for morata who's just mediocre at best. Mediocre does not cut it at Juve.

BTW @Mark: are QPR going to buy Isla or not? The fvcker's been a starter for them for a while now.

How can Zaza be more relevant to the departure of a completely different type of player... Llorente is not doing any better than Morata, so if we bring Zaza in, we don't lose any quality while Zaza has immense room for improvement. Llorente can only decline. Sell him while we still can.

I read they would but don't know how true that rumour is. The option is 10m and don,t think they would pay all of it. I hope so. :xfinger:

Donpiero don't want no mediocre, he don't want no mediocre. He says Morata is mediocre, but is cool with Llorente as a starter, from his head to his toe, he don't want no mediocre.

MLS side Toronto FC have reportedly offered huge wages to Juventus contract rebel Sebastian Giovinco.

The Atomic Ant is out of contract in June and has made it clear he has no intention of signing an extension.
He’s determined not to accept a January transfer either, so could leave as a free agent at the end of the season.
Giovinco has been linked with the likes of Fiorentina, Torino, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United.
According to Sky Sport italia, a proposal has come in from MLS club Toronto FC worth an impressive €6m per season.
However, he will consider his options first, as he still wants to prove himself at the highest level.
Giovinco turns 28 later this month.

Please let this be true omfg
