Team spirit is important ...
But we need player with calibre especially with flair and creativity ...
what we have only a bunch of players who loves to tackle and run for the ball ...
Juve should change their name to Juventus Rugby Club (JRC).

Montero ; Thuram; Ferrara; Tudor; Iuliano; Birindelli; Pessotto; Moretti; Fresi; Zenoni

What is this?

Too many defenders

Nedved; Davids; Tacchinardi; Brighi; Zambrotta; Baiocco; Conte

More defender than midfielder ...
this is crazy ...
Plus they want to buy Nesta rather than World class midfielder..
I need someone from Juventus Official to explain this statement..

Good team always have more midfielder than defender especially the one with flair and creativity.

look at us

Moggi said no money left but when they have money the will only buy world class defender but they will only buy the type of midfielder that we already have .... "Defensive Midfielder".

Juventus must admit they lack of fluidity when it comes to the style of playing.

With this kind of players we should play 3 men upfront to cover up our lack of creativity and vision in midfield ...

But I still believe we can excel if we play with 3 men upfront or with Nedved just a little bit behind Del Piero and Trezeguet or Salas. Not as a 'Hole' but as a forward and midfielder at one time just like Rivaldo at recent World Cup and our fanatically tackle loving midfielder as a support. In Defence there will no need of worrying, we already have World Class and record breaking transfer fee defender, if Nesta coming there will be a new world record transfer for a defender. Lastly the Goalkeeper position I safely say that we already have the World's best.

So rate the team yourself, HONESTLY.

True but 4 forwards is never enough IMO!

Then again, I'm Dutch so... :D
well, i'm norwegian, and i say that 4 are more than enough:D

seriously, i don't think we need more strikers, salas is back now, and zalayeta is pretty competent. chiesa would be ok, but we don't need to pay full price for any more strikers IMO.

i think we need to sort out some issues in our midfield.

I can only see the two extreme's posible for our team in europe....first round elimination or we make the final, depneding on the team, if we play like a team we should prove a difficult oposistion, if we play like we have been recently in Europe, well need i say more.

Exactly! It's the team factor that's going to make all the difference 'cause it's obvious that individual stars aren't going to get us through....

Who is this Regoni or Rigoni fellow, i keep reading about?

I am with those who say we need creativity, i was very hurt when Wenger last season, said we were like a German team, until I saw us play in Cl and found out he was right.

Boy in the entertainment department, we are not value for money.
As for team spirit, it will only take you so far egs Italy 2000, Germany 2002, but that special individual will laways win the big one eg Zidane Cl2002, and Ronaldo wc 2002.

Asking DelPiero to provide the creativity week in week out witohut that much help is really asking a lot. At least Totti has Cafu, candela, Montella, Emerson and now Guardiola to help out, Real madrid can count on too many ppl, but Juve no DelPiero or if he si slightly off his game and we are struggling to beat a well organised team

He wasn't in the last CM for some reason. He may be in the full database though (all150,000 odd players).

He was in 00/01 though and fairly good.

I see many poeple in the world of football fancy about things that called "creativity". What is "creativity"? Does it help to solve all the problem???

If you say that the team with high creativity will win then it would be Juve who would have win the Scudetto in the CL 2000, 2001. Yes, that team had Zidane, the most creative playmaker in the World. But what were the results? Juve lost 2 CL final and 2 Scudetto in 5 seasons. Why?

Let's take a look back at the team that won Scudetto in the year 1995 and CL in 1996. Was it the team who had a super creative midfielder? Was it the team that is creative enough? I don't think so. I don't think Ravanelli, Deschamps, Di Livio.... and even Vialli are creative players. Instead, they are very competitive players. And Juve at that time had all the powerful players at every positions and most of all, that is because their playstyle. They played extremely effectively, consistently and most of all the Italian style. Never makes a mistake and then wait for their opponents' mistake to punish them. Remember how tremendous the team vs Juve in the CL final 96 was. Oh, the current Real, MU are just children compared with them. Juve won because of their extremely effectively players.
And I don't understand why poeple see the problem with the current Juve. You are not sastified with Nedved:eek:, Davids:eek:, Zambrotta , Tacchinardi , .... It's unjust. Nedved is the most coveted player in Serie A. His qualities are always very good for any team. Davids, defensive midfield as someone thinks. No, absurd. Davids is not only a DM. He is both an AM and DM. And his playstyle scatters the scare to other team.

No, I don't think we have problem with creativity. With ZZ, I've many times seen that Juve had deadlock on scoring against weaker team. And I don't think that Real's squad is more perfect than Juve. Their defend always has problem and because they play offensively so much, they leave many hole behind and I don't think they will win Juve if they face them.

For me, the problem is the form of the players. This season we will see another Juve because new players has adapted to Juve and because the schedule this season won't make many discomfortable to Juve. Last season, remember we had many matches posponed and rescheduled.

Exactly. I don' give a damn about creativity. If we can go out and win 1-0 every Sunday, I don't care if we only get 1 shot on goal a match. As long as the number on the scoreboard is more then the number next to the other team.

You are right. But I also don't think Lippi prefers a boring playstyle. However, we can entertain without a creative player. And remember Juve always plays with a dominant style at Lippi's charge
