Though if someone like me for instance would keep on following Juventus and at occasions go watch Juventus live even though they're in Serie B, I think I'd qualify as a fan.

i do more agree than disagree with it.
he likes to present his "facts" according to his situations.

according to him, it's all about the money, only the rich can be a Juventus fan. and I wonder how he supports Juventus (Torino, an Italian City), and the English National team at the same time. If I will go with his logic, then it should be all italian (club and national team) or all English.

We are all 'glory hunters', the simple fact we chose the best team in Italy (statistically) to support and not Brescia or Como. Let's be honest, if Brescia had the same status and dominance as Juventus has, you would be supporting them instead 99% of you here (including me)

Why can't people just let people follow a team. Why does it matter if they're glory hunters or not?

What the fuck is your problem... Where exactly did i state anything as a fact within this thread... (as for my use of facts.. The fact is that anything i have ever said to be fact on this forum has been researched and is backed up... Problem with you is you dismiss things as crap jus because it doesnt follow your path even though you havent taken the time to research it)

Someone asked for everyones answers to a series of questions... Am i not allowed to answer them... are only people that look at it from your side allowed to ?

At most this was a persons opinion being asked... nothing todo with facts and a subject which has no factual basis for measurement...

In reality it wasnt actually my opinion, but rather a flippant response to a non-sensical string of questions... The questions far too broad to be answered yes or no, but maybe i give you too much credit in thinking you could actually see that...

You wonder how by my logic i can support juve and the english national team... Well its not exactly taxing... They are completely seperate...

Why do i support england ? because its my nationality the country of my birth... The country that nigh on every branch of my family can be traced back through, The country i call home, the place i love, the country i have fought for... Is that really so hard to fathom

Juve... I have relatives in torino... I spent a large chunk of my childhood there... I was there at an age where you grow to love the game and allegiances are formed...

They are completely different and there is absolutely no reason why i should, being an englishman, whether juve supporter or not, have any connection to the italian national team... I am not italian, I merely have relatives there and work there and support one of their club teams... As such i really couldnt give a rats arse what italy do in the world cup or on any other sporting field.. and nor should I

It doesnt... Though when people profess they are the biggest fan in the world etc (as many here do), then at another moment switch to another club for trivial reasons of following trophys or players... Then yes it is grating...

Well then yeah, you have a point I guess. Though I've never claimed to be the biggest fan, it's still up to someone to support whoever the hell they want to, but I see where you're coming from.

PS - It's not exactly "glory hunting" to support England instead of Italy :p
