I hope its a good tournement and I hope its not wrecked by thugs.

I apologise for the actions of english thugs in belgium and holland 2000. Most english people are not horrible and we love football not fighting

Hate to break it to you but football was invented in ancient Rome, not England. ;)

Stop apologizing and start paying please. They actually had to raise taxes for a short period to fix our cities :irritate:

Seriously - I (and every sane person with me I should think) realise it was just the rotten few that every people have among them.

Yeah, well England and Turkey have alot of those among them. It seems to me that everywhere they go, something gets wrecked. I still haven't forgotten how Copenhagen looked after the UEFA Cup final in 2000. A bloody mess!

No, I don't think it was that violent, but it left us with these psycho cops who suspects everybody is a hooligan. I know it's for my own safety... but damnit! I'm so tired of them... (hooligans and cops)

Hmm yeah, that's pretty bad! In my city, there is constant MP surveillance throughout the centre (especially around the American embassy). I can't leave the house without my passport 'cause there's an 80% chance I'll have to identify myself some time during the day...

    Sounds terrible
We haven't gone that far yet... but if the world keeps screwing around like this, we probably will

I hope not - but there's hope for you cause here they only took those extra measures after they found bombs in the royal palace and central station. If that doesn't happen in Copenhagen, nothing will probably change!

Sorry to hear that your taxes were increased mate they should put all the hooligans on the moon and leave them there.

I dont think english fans are as bad as turkey fans though to be honest.

although im glad the english fa turned tickets down for the group decider in turkey, that would have been asking for trouble.

Yeah - but it's a shame that they have to resort to such measures though :undecide:

Although I have to admit most fans in England are great. I've been to some Leicester matches (that was last year in May) and it was brilliant! Very nice people everywhere despite the club already being as good as relegated :thumb:

Really? Basel fans? Wow ... never expected that!

And yes, PSV had some crowd problems earlier this season but the hooligans got a stadium ban and the problem disappeared, thankfully!

yeah mate basel fans were mad.

In England a lot of teams from lower divisions have the mad fans,

cardiff city, stoke and milwall spring to mind.

idiots mate. My worst nightmare is turning on the tv next june to watch England and the fans are fighting. We will be banned and its not fair because people like me who love football will miss out on somthing that we look forward to for two years.
