Not really, one of these bottles will last me 4-5 years
:agree:

And samples cost next to nothing. So it's easy to go through a lot of them to find something that fits you perfectly, regardless of cost.

Try to also get samples for black saffron by byredo and dg velvet desert oud
Black saffron is great. An ex girlfriend introduced me to Byredo. Lots of good stuff in their line.

Haven't tried the other one. Thanks for the suggestions.

@Post Ironic wanna set up a crowd fund for this
I have no idea how to set up crowd fund stuff. But I'd happily chip in for this.

If you can own only one cologne under $75 and something that's not "loud," what would it be?

Also, how long do colognes last till they go rancid/bad? I've had two for ~10 yrs, one for 15+ yrs. They don't smell foul, but I don't really remember the exact original scent.

@Wittl @Kyle @Hustini @s4tch any of you guys can help with this? If you do you get a 3 month ban moratorium
i'm on zero infraction points so... :seven:

btw what is this all about? i'm not reading this thread too often...

my experience with crowd funding: with some buddies, we happen to run a juve-related blog in hungarian. a couple of years ago, one of my mates met a young, partly disabled keeper whose idol was buffon. we helped him to fund his trip to the juve stadium and see gigi live, and our readers were nice enough to send some $$$. i don't remember what service we used exactly, but it was pretty straight forward iirc. should i dig in my emails to find out more?

You rock! Lol fyodor wasn't always popular
Just read an articel, use https://www.kickstarter.com/ or the already mentioned https://www.gofundme.com/

If we want to create a campaign which addresses also other people than Tuz-members to donate for it, it would be very important to describe the reason for the campaign and what's behind the book he wrote, alongside a fitting picture et cetera. And therefore I think it should be Dostoevsky himself to create the campaign. If we just want to adress tuz-members, I can do it of course.

https://www.indiegogo.com/ should be good too :agree:

https://www.indiegogo.com/ seems to be the best for flexible funding, because you'll get your funds whether or not you meet your goal.

They suggest to write about the following things:
Short Summary

Contributors fund ideas they can be passionate about and to people they trust. Here are some things to do in this section:
  • Introduce yourself and your background.
  • Briefly describe your campaign and why it's important to you.
  • Express the magnitude of what contributors will help you achieve.
Remember, keep it concise, yet personal. Ask yourself: if someone stopped reading here would they be ready to make a contribution?

What We Need & What You Get

Break it down for folks in more detail:
  • Explain how much funding you need and where it's going. Be transparent and specific-people need to trust you to want to fund you.
  • Tell people about your unique perks. Get them excited!
  • Describe where the funds go if you don't reach your entire goal.

The Impact
Feel free to explain more about your campaign and let people know the difference their contribution will make:
  • Explain why your project is valuable to the contributor and to the world.
  • Point out your successful track record with projects like this (if you have one).
  • Make it real for people and build trust.

..and add a good eyecatching picture (or even video, like s4tch did).

damn guys, I got offline for 12h and when I come back I get emotional and an erection.

Doesn't even matter if this goes through or not but thanks a bunch. Means a bunch to me. You guys are really great. I'm struggling with work, doing extra hours without payment too, so I'm drained as fuck.

I'm horrible at taking pics, let alone making a video. I'd even accept donations from Tuz even if I have to pay back in the future. But I'd need a lot of time and no pressure to return the money as it's pretty hard to get it at the moment. So even small donations are fine but you gotta give me space to return it, at least half a year lol. Dunno about donations outside of Tuz. They are strangers to me haha

Finally have my job interview today for position that I really want and just now I broke the bonding that had been on one of my front teeth for 10 years since I originally broke it.

I am now missing half of a front tooth with no time to go to dentist :baus:
