The Vidal comparisons won't do him any good.
Lmao yep. Vidal was absolutely unplayable in his prime between 2011-15 and was probably the best midfielder on earth during that time period. Might sound like crazy juventino hyperbole but there was absolutely no one who had the complete package like him: defensive tenacity, versatility, stamina, goalscoring instict and key passing in the final third. There were plenty of serial winners and legends of the game like Iniesta, Xavi and Schweiny who were on top of their careers at that point, but no one possessed all the qualities that Vidal had at that time until his knee injury. One game he could be scoring a hat-trick and the other he was filling in as CB.

So in short making any sort of comparisons to him should be a bannable offense. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Yeah, for instance Iniesta wasn't good at all those things either. Guess who will always be remembered as one of the greatest midfielders ever.

Vidal was a very very good all-rounder but calling him a goat is laughable. On the other hand, comparing McKennie to him is just not healthy...
