Argentina have been the most entertaining team by far this tournament, Maradona has been the most intriguing character, for that i hope they win the WC :D

S.Korea deserved to qualify, imo they have been very impressive this WC. The trio of Park Ji Sung, Lee Chung Yo and Park Chu Young really click together. I like watching them play.
And you still stick with your previous opinion about Asia losing a spot for Africa in the next wc after this and what Japan did to Cameroon and will do in the coming days?

This is the reason that 2002 still pisses me off. But a lot of people seem perfectly okay with this and will call you a conspiracy theorist even though that, purely statistically even, 2002 was not normal.
The point is that you can't change the past. That and the fact that you can never prove it was fixed. Yes, suspicions and signs, but no evidence. What we should do is prevent it from happening again. Unfortunately, without replays or similar, football will still remain highly fixable.

I didn't watch the match. But i can imagine Nigeria creating a shit load of chances and missing them all horribly. Typical of this Nigerian team really.

:agree: He's a joy to watch, such a slick player.
I just mean that Korea were not impressive. They were horrible TBH. Nigeria could have won 50 nothing :D.

Oh, these things come out. Someone will prove it at some point. It is necessary to improve the game too. It's why instant replay is not allowed.

I can't keep track of the eliminated African teams. They're going out with the speed of light.

But South American teams
10-2-0 (21:4)
The only two draws are against the 2006 WC finalists (although in reality this isn't as good as it sounds because Italy and France are awful nowdays)

Europe is doing bad. 10 wins and 10 defeats, with 6 draws.

See that last point I totally agree with. The reason "the powers that be" don't want replays might well be that they would no longer have the possibility of maipulating games.

This is the first World Cup that isn't hosted by Asia where Asian teams do better than African teams. But even ignoring that fact, i still stand by my previous opinion, S.Korea and Japan are doing well, but look at the fourth Asian team, N.Korea losing 7-0. Like Saudi Arabia losing 8-0 in 2002. Its no coincidence that the biggest results were inflicted on Asian teams

It most likely is. But once 2002 turns out to be a scandal, FIFA will be forced to make changes for the better.
