Meanwhile, there was more good news for Arezzo, who reportedly agreed deals for two new players this evening – promising Juventus striker Rej Volpato on loan and Pescara midfielder Daniele Croce.

    from channel 4....its true.

we will need a handful of players to cover this lack of depth. What will happen if we get back to serie A? this group cant handle the long season

I suppose your right but I thought guzman isnt out and out striker, I mean his more of those who can possibly play behind the front two and playing three up front may end up being a common theme in serie B. If that is the case then there isnt really nothing wrong in having volpato around. Plus we have lots of matches this season. (I may go to the brave length and say more than last season).

but the kid can play on the wing right ? and we dont have that much depth in that area. So why dont we keep him?

Guzman can play an attacking mid role.

Palladino could stay because DD likes him.

Volpato is a big guy so he's better in front.

It seems Trezeguet will only but stay for now. I dont know whether this is good or not in terms of financial perspectives, so I will reserve my evaluation later.
However, I do feel we could have loaned him to some Serie A team to get good experience. Volpato in many ways is making a step down in his career by moving from Serie A, where he was getting some decent time before injury, to Serie B.

I guess Conte probably used his friendship with some of the brass within the management. I am not too thrilled though.

if trezeguet and zalayeta both stay, we need 3 to 4 support strikers/players who can play in a role behind the forwards. these are bojinov, del piero, palladino and guzman. add nedved to that list of players who can play behind..and marchionni and camoranesi can play an advnaced midfield role also.

Volpato wasnt really needed unless others are leaving. I hope this means Palladino and Guzman stay as they are quality.
