completely and utterly disagree with you here.
We had won more things than them in the past and half the flops they've had. The amount they've paid in their flops isn't even close to what we paid for Tiago.
I m referring strictly on their transfer strategy and their tradition to buy and sell 3 times the amount of footballers we do every year,
where ever there is a footballer worth of smth, Valencia prepares a bid,
even if he fails in their team, they somehow always find a victim to get rid of him,
(they destroyed Lazio's economy like 8 years ago)
this is how they made the money they have available now,
they are constantly in that business for years, top footballers and coaches had come and gone and inevitable, everybody has his flops,
it seems that their last 2 years, they are (hopefully) losing their touch,
( that wont change the facts, of what they already committed)
but i have grown to admire them over the years and i m not alone...
IMO they had a time that were able to taught Moggi himself how to do business and thats very rare in Europe's football community...
There is a certain reason why the managed to grab, both Joaqin and Vicente, whilst the whole europe was behind them.
For a club that it is not funded by the state (like Real and Barca),
not being England resident (being in the wealthiest European country allows you to make a fortune by tickets and TV rights alone)
and not having a great tradition as Juve, Valencia has managed to step up, use the love of their fans, make the right choices and with some brilliant management become one of the Europe's finest!
Secco is no match for such experienced businessmen!
