you tell me, what are Obama's true views ??

example- I dont believe him when he says he wont raise my taxes, when he's got all these programs he want to implement (how will they be funded ?), and looking at his past voting when it comes to raising our taxes
Why is it that whenever we want to introduce something that benefits all of our citizens, people come out to protest claiming we cannot fund the program because it will raise taxes? But then, whenever we want to invade another country, the fears regarding taxes subside and people approve putting our troops in harms way while they have no clue as to what for.

It's the same goddamned stuff, Vinni. Providing healthcare for all and invading nations costs money. Considering you voted for this mess, I think raising your taxes is actually a good thing. The only way we can pay off this massive debt (which is something you don't understand, by the way, because you don't address it) is to raise taxes, not borrow more money from China.

I find it humorous that you detest Obama due to red scare fears while the Bush administration is dealing with China and enforcing socialism right under you nose.

I am against Socialism, we have enough of it here now with medicaid and welfare, and I pay enough in taxes to support it....whats so hard to understand about that ?
What's hard is that people paint things like "socialism" with such broad black & white stripes. It's that "good vs. evil" convenience of labelling things.

Because the truth is that we have a hell of a lot of socialism in this country already. About the only ones who aren't at least partly socialist are the die-hard libertarians, and we can only imagine how badly the mortgage collapse and credit scandal would have been if entirely left to their own devices.

That you are paid as a police officer as part of a tax base to provide a community service, that isn't privately funded, is a form of socialism. That Alaskan residents profit handsomely from their Permanent Fund is a form of socialism.

It's not all black and white. It's mostly gray out there. (Nothing personal, Graham. ;) )

And Obama's idea about "spreading the wealth" goes against the principles that this country is about...
Let's just start with the preamble to the constitution, Vinni:

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Sounds like it goes against the principles that this country is about alright. Apparently our founding fathers were socialist bastards.

Oh no, you didn't. You did not, Greg. You whipped out the Preamble to something that is worth less than a roll of toilet paper. As if whatever was written on that roll has any meaning today.

Probably the only country in Europe that will become a full blown Communist state again is Russia....and they will probably attempt to take a few countries with them

thanks for alluding to the fact that I'm a racist, it proves that you know fuck-all about me. I dont care what color the man is, I dont agree with his views....

...and that doesnt mean that Mc Cain is much better either (and he's white !!:p)
I know as much about you as you know of words like socialism or communism
frankly I'm not against McCain but it is Palin who scares me
what if McCain gets sick? he is like 71 years old
then Palin becomes president, someone who believes the Flinstones was the first reality show
someone with such extreme views
you really want her in the White House?
besides, what the hell does Obama have to do with socialism or communism?
in a country with over 30 million people with no insurance whatsoever, no access to medicare
a little bit of socialism wouldn't hurt you
you really think they are all lazy?
I saw it on the news the other day that a man who recently retired lost his medical insurance the minute he stepped out of the office and this while his wife was diagnosed with MS
I think it is a discrace for such a country to let so many people out in the cold
and I never said you are a racist, that guy was but I merely wanted to point out that he used the exact same arguments not to vote for Obama as you do

I dont think "general welfare" referred to taking care of Jerome and Tyrone hanging out on the street corner, too lazy to get a job, but more about the sick and elderly

so lets not play with words

my arguments had nothing to do with the fact that Obama is half-black

Well when a single Republican can tell me the intricacies of John McCain's policies I will begin to listen to them.

Oh My God

The funniest part is, he doesnt sound like Sarkozy AT ALL, not even one little bit close to sounding like him. But I guess you dont have to put an impressionation to fool Ms Palin.
How would she know what he sounds like? She's obviously well qualified to be vice president, so she's never heard him speak, how would knowing anything about the president of France be of any interest to her?

That Sarkozy impression is as bad as the average French accent in a Hollywood movie.

"Sarkozy" : Maybe we could go try hunting by a helicopter like you did. I never did that.
Palin: Hahaha
"Sarkozy": Like we say in France "On pourrait tuer les bébé phoques aussi." (We can kill baby seals too)
