Oh, and I'm probably in the minority on this, but I've long been a huge fan of MediaMonkey for both tagging, management, etc., of mp3s on a PC and for the options for transferring them to various mp3 players.

i dont have an iPod, but i use Winamp to transfer songs to my phone. and i remember transferring songs to my friends iPod once using it, and it worked perfectly
