Roma symbol Francesco Totti has categorically ruled out the possibility of ever playing for arch rivals Juventus.
Although the No 10 hasn’t been linked with a move to the Bianconeri, he’s underlined that he would never join the Italian giants.
"I don’t think I could ever play with the Juventus shirt," Totti told the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.
"Anyway, I love the sun and the beach. I don’t think these exist in Turin! I am a Roman and a Romanista, how could I play my football in another city?"
A number of Roma players have moved to Turin in recent seasons, such as Jonathan Zebina and Emerson, plus Coach Fabio Capello.
There have also been strong rumours linking Amantino Mancini and Antonio Cassano with transfers to Juventus later today.
But Juve director general Luciano Moggi insists that neither of the two players will arrive at the Stadio Delle Alpi.
"Cassano will not come to Juventus and we won’t get Mancini either," Moggi said on Wednesday.
The transfer guru added that the club would not be making any more additions to their squad before this evening’s deadline.
Both Cassano and Mancini were present for this morning’s training session at Roma’s Trigoria headquarters.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Bachini has completed his move to Siena after agreeing a two-year deal at the Stadio Franchi.
The 30-year-old returns to the game after missing almost all of last season because of a doping ban.
The right winger, who has been capped by Italy, was at Brescia last term after spells at Udinese and Juventus.
