this is a pic of TEKKONKINKREET i have it on blu ray looks amazing
I'm going to download it now it looks really cool.

Red, how can you dis Groundhog Day? Awesome film.

I can't give a top 5 but some of my definite favorites -

American Psycho
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.
Good Will Hunting
The first 2 Godfather's

The acting in all of these films is what swayed me. I can't deny an amazing individual performance. Christian Bale aces the role of Patrick Bateman in American Psycho and I love the take on corporate life style. The Assassination of Jesse James has amazing performances by both Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck. Robbin Williams' monologue in Good Will Hunting is one of the best written most well acted scenes I've ever seen in my life it moves me every time I see it and Al Pacino in the first two Godfathers is second to none.

There's nothing wrong with Garden State hah its a good movie. Not all good movies have to be big blockbuster type movies. Indie films are where its at for good movies

I have to agree with you on the others, but Godfather Part III was shit.
as a stand-alone movie, I think it would have been seen as a pretty good one but as a successor to movies like Godfather 1 and 2, yeah, it was at least 2 levels below and pretty underwhelming in comparison.
