I'm not close at all, but I think Hustini lives in D.C. and some of the other members are very close by.
I know that Burke and (maybe)Aaron stay very close to DC.
Burke and I are within 2 hours of DC. Andy and Tahir are close as well.
    Thank you very much, guys...

He is going to this region to have a training:
    650 Massachusetts Avenue Northwest
    Washington, DC 20001-3796

And willing to go to this hotel:
    Days Inn Washington DC/Gateway

Did you hear about this hotel? or do you recommend another one in the same region.

If anybody is in Phoenix too, that would be great.

The hotel got a 3 out of 5 rating, but has some bad reviews.

"It is an old style hotel set up and looks its age, although our room was clean enough, but the sheets were passed their used by date - thin spots all over them. We were given the incorrect information on how to access the internet which costs us two days of communication, on the last day another staff member told us something different which was correct. Staff did not communicate well. Breakfast was at the chinese restaurant attached (separate owners) and cost, we walked in and walked out again and so did others we spoke too. One good thing was the Free Shuttle bus to Union Station."

This was posted since three years I guess. The hotel says that they made a big overhaul since then. Do you know anything else? What about the neighbourhood? In some sites they said it is known for drug. Is it true?

I used to live near DC, but its been years.

As for Phoenix, it's like all the bad things about Los Angeles with none of the good. For example, old people with leathery skin, but no hardbodies in bikinis. All sand, but no beach. No movie stars, but plenty of Denny's. Etc...

I haven't been to D.C. in years but from what I remember it has some pretty dangerous areas. I think the crime rate there is surprisingly high.

Yeah, Northwest is rough. Not as bad as South East though. I wouldn't go out by myself after 11:00pm. It's a typical city neighborhood during the day though, diverse with lots of shops and restaurants. And stay out of Anacostia.

The areas near the training center are probably fine, though the closer you get to Catholic University the worse things get.

As for the hotel, it could have possibly gotten better. There are a ton of other places to stay in the area, with a wide range in price.

    That's good, no?
