I thought Tiago played great vs Palermo. With Sissoko covering defensive duties, Tiago had a Pirloesque elegance to him and we were playing wonderful football. Look at the pass from Tiago to Camo who dummies it and it lands at Trez's right foot who shoots at the near post. Great play. Tiago could be influential in the last part of the season.

tiago plays well in that type of formation. A 4-3-3 suits him, and it suits our team. I can't understand why raneri uses the straight 4-4-2. Plus, sissoko does the work of 2 DM's. Tiago could of been influential the entire season, raneri just chooses not to use him in the right way.

anyone that agrees that tiago is just a mediocre player with no butt in his pants to pull the strings in midfield ?
i think that you will find the majority of people here feel the same way. of course there are a few here who feel that Ranieri has not given him many opportunities or that he hasn't been put in the best situations to succeed and prove himself. all which is BS IMO

im going to be honest here, a lot of the time all i see is tiago losing the ball.

now if that were lets say nocerino or palladino straight away every 1 would want him out of here. why is it different with tiago?

it was good to see that Tiago was kind of starting to control the attacking play when he came on against Parma but still the killer pass was not there...quite a few times he still managed to lose the ball without any real pressure...It can be argued that it takes time to settle in a new league and a new teambut a whole season?

Tiago simply cost us a lot of money, Rani doesn't want to destruct his value, so he can play from time to time but I think he will be gone this summer if we get a decent price

If I remember correctly , Nedved had the same problem . Although Nedved got more playing time than Tiago .

1 - Nedved was not new to Serie A
2 - He was already a proven World Class player

but I do hope Tiago improves even more over the last few weeks...we need to get a decent price for him!
:agree: although fortunately, Tottenham would be stupid enough to buy him at an over inflated price

Tiago needs to hit the gym then get his ass wupped so he can toughin up IMO... He has definitely lost the tenacity he had in lyon thats for sure. Yes he does have a great touch and should have been given more time earlier in the season when the pressure wasent as bad. But a good player IMO should be able to shine or at least prove himself given all the time Tiago has seen this season...

Tiago must be doing something useful we haven't lost a game when he has started a game

Juventus 4-0 Reggina
Juventus 3-0 Empoli
Juventus 2-0 Siena
Catania 1-1 Juventus
Juventus 1-1 Cagliari
Juventus 1-0 Napoli
Empoli 0-0 Juventus
Juventus 3-2 Milan

He needs more playing time and less pressure from everyone.
With champion league qualification almost done he should play the remainder of the games to see what he can do on a consecutive run of games

We cannot change our formation for Tiago's sake, and I am sure that any player
can produce a couple of excellent passes if that's what he's asked to do, but seriously everytime he plays I feel that we're missing a player

he defends like Palladino, attacks like Nocerino, and runs less than Molinaro, I dont know why our management shows that faith in him, is it because the money we paid to get him??

If I remember correctly , Nedved had the same problem . Although Nedved got more playing time than Tiago .
Come on !! are you really comparing Nedved to Tiago??

The score with Catania, Caliari and Empoli aren't brilliant either, and what about Palladino? how many games did he start as a striker?? he sometimes impressed even when he played out of position, while Tiago rarely impressed in his natural position

I am with giving Tiago more chances, but he already got more chances than Palladino and Stendardo, and I am totally against those we want to sell the first and not to buy the second while asking for more chances to Tiago, it's so unfair
