Juve look to Bastos, Forlan and Pellé
Juventus are active on the transfer market with Michel Bastos booked for next season and a choice between Antonio Floro Flores, Diego Forlan and Graziano Pellé.
The Turin giants have found their side decimated by injuries this term, as in the last week they have lost Fabio Quagliarella for the rest of the campaign and Luca Toni for a month.

A new striker is needed quickly and there are several options on the table.

The favourite is Udinese benchwarmer Floro Flores, who is expected to arrive on Monday in a loan deal worth €1.5m plus €10m to make the move permanent.

Newspapers have also mentioned the more glamorous alternative in Atletico Madrid hitman Forlan.

“I know there has been a lot of talk about me in Italy, but up until now I have only heard rumours and no concrete offers,” said the Uruguayan.

“I know Juventus signed Toni, but has he picked up an injury already? In that case, I now understand where all these rumours are coming from...”

A different and more intriguing target is AZ Alkmaar forward Pellé. The 25-year-old left Serie A because no clubs would offer him regular playing time and has developed into a genuine talent in Holland.

Napoli have also been linked with a January bid for ex-Lecce man Pellé.

Meanwhile, Juventus are also said to be working on the future of the team with a deal struck for the summer.

They had already shown interest in Olympique Lyonnais full-back Bastos in the past, but considered him too expensive.

The situation has changed for the Brazilian, as Lyon are willing to release him in the summer, according to the Corriere dello Sport.

Bastos isn't a fullback? I thought Cissokho was the fullback of OL.

Pelle, lmao, he sucks balls in the Eredivise, most horrible striker probably in the league

Paying 4.5 million for Storari was a retarded choice in first place.
I disagree. A 33 year old goalkeeper is like a 28 year old field player. We didn't know what will happen with Gigi after the operation and we needed a solid goalkeeper. I personally liked Storari from his Messina and Cagliari days and I knew he'll do fine, especially after his great performances with Samp. Luckily for us he wasn't hyped and Milan had lots of other goalkeepers so we could get him for such a low price. If we're realistic, 4.5m eur is even low for a keeper of Storari's quality.
Unless Marotta fucks it up badly, we should be able to get at least 5m for Storari.

Yeah. but that could also be helpful. I think we could get Tremoulinas for 10. 5-6 from storari would net that out to a 4 mil investment. Our team would be so much stronger.

I wouldn't mind Nagatomo, I have seen 4 games for Cesena in the first half of the sean, and I was really impressed. Fiesty, likes to push forward, and isn't afraid! Only thing I didn't like, he tends to get out of control some times.

Have you heard anything about the summer budget?
We usually spend around the 50 millions region every summer, but if we pick up the options on Quag, Pepe, and Aqua man, then this is big portion of the budget is gone.
Just the 3 it's about 34m €. With sales we spent about 15.5m this season. Last year about 40m, 08-09 about 22m and 07-08 in the 40's region + we bought Momo for 11+3 and sold Boumsong in the winter mercato.

mark or wahdan whats this about juve getting an agreement for bastos next season?? its on tutto's headlines this morning.
Rumours from papers so far. They seem sure though. He'd be our non-EU player unless he gets a French passport soon. I would have used that on Ivanovic if he'd want to come here and play RB.

    You're right.

Bastos never plays as a fullback for Lyon, even when Cissoko isn't playing. He plays as a winger, sometimes on the right sometimes on the left. Mostly on the right.

    Arsenal maybe...

Anyway, I dont want Storari out of here. At least not for price lower than 5-6 mil.
We're not interested in buying a keeper, at least not in this transfer window, that is for sure.

"Yes, Juventus is concerned. We have not received any official offer, but something has moved. A lot of big clubs have come here to see our boys and it is normal that there are rumors about their future. Gerndt We would like to stay with us for next season, but attention on him is huge."
