That's why I think Gigi will go if we get good money for him.
Why so we can buy 2 more 12m Martinez's for him? Come on, Buffon should stay because we don't have anything close to replacing him without having to spend some of what we get for him on another GK. SO that technically means we might be able to get only one good player and 1 GK replacement for Buffon. That doesn't do us much good. It's not like we will get 45m for him like we could have 3-4 years ago.

There is also no guarantee that we will use that money wisely.

Arshavin is a good player but 4 goals in 20 games are not much
as for the assists 9 assists are quite impressive but still I understand he`ll be a forward if we sign him so I am not that crazy about it
BTW Can he play a LW?

Someone answer this man.
As I've said before and Alen did somewhat yesterday, when you are a 10th-5th club with less money those are generally the only players you can afford. How long have Napoli and Palermo taken to reach possible CL-qualifying standard? No way in hell would Juve fans wait that long, with no guarantee that these players are going to turn out like Pastore or Hamsik, this forum is all over the place after 2 losses. Will we become like Palermo, a feeder club for richer teams?

2007-08 Palermo (Cavani, Balzaretti + mediocre) - 11th
2008-09 Palermo (Kjaer + mediocre) - 8th
2009-10 Palermo (Pastore, Sirigu + mediocre) - 5th

2007-08 Napoli (Hamsik, Gargano, Lavezzi + mediocre) - 8th
2008-09 Napoli (majority flops inc. Denis & Datolo) - 12th
2009-10 Napoli (a lot of big spending inc. Quagliarella, Cigarini, Zuniga) - 6th

We would need to still sign more proven, expensive players. Then it becomes an issue to find space for the cheaper, inexperienced players to play.

    yes

we'd go with Storari and sign Marchetti for free.

    we'd save on wages.

    Welcome to Newventus!

If he didn't get injured at the WC he would of already been gone

Why would you sell the only man who would be able to straighten out our defence . Storari is quite, buffon on the other hand controls our defense like chess pieces. Mancini came out and said today that he would never make a bid for buffon, better recognize!

    Mancini is a c*nt!

    I wouldn't. I think our board would.

and we need more than Buffon to straighten out our D. Like 2 good fullbacks.
