You put Aguero-Benzema up top and need to ask whether it's good or not?! That's :tuttosport:

The rest is alright, though I'd rather not get Pirlo, but say.. Inler. I do hope De Ceglie starts showing a football brain and keeps improving rapidly, since 90% of the people here include him in their line-ups and plenty seem to have high hopes, because of some improvement before his injury.

I don't want Pirlo here, at least not as a starter...but who knows maybe he would show a bit of his old self sorta like Cannavaro did his first trip here. In any event, Marchisio should stay but I wouldn't mind a new CM that has a bigger impact than the others (excluding Melo). De Ceglie is good going forward and has a much better cross than any defender we currently have...lacks a bit defensively but lets hope he can improve. He has good stamina and pace which is nice...anyways, I always liked him so I'd like him to play again unless we get a top class LB and not a motta-esque retard.

So if DN stays then this:

Buffon
Beck-Bonucci-Chiellini-De Ceglie
Krasic-Melo-Pirlo-Bastos:)sergio:)
Benzema-Aguero

Yes no?

It's not what I think we will end up, just wondering if you guys think it's semi-realistic and good? I know aguero is a long shot...add benzema and its like trying to find life on mars...:shifty:

And the only way to get Byrone to pipe down is to get Benzema...
Pretty realistic if you swap Benzema-Aguero with Quag-Matri :D

Also I don't think Pirlo will come. He'll stay in Milan.

Quag-Matri won't bring us close to winning anything next year nor the top 3 IMO...we better be settled in for the long ride then if that is the case. What happens if one of them get's injured then? We need a WC player up top.

Real Madrid won't use that option on Adebayor.
Can we pick him up then?

Yeah. Nothing against those guys but £26m or whatever it is to keep them yeah? Wow I;d hate to see that. I;d prefer a single world talent for that price.

If the likes of Milan and Inter have players like Robinho, Zlatan, Cassano, Pato, Sanchez, Eto'o etc as their strikers there is no way we should settle for Quag, Matri, Iaquinta:)inter:), Toni, and Alex.

@Hus:

I'd start PDC over any of our others LBs, but like I've said before, I'm not convinced and I'm quite worried about the lack of links to any LBs. ( Apart from a random Clichy name-drop here and there. )

Anyway... Just send Aquaman back to Liverpool and use that cash for Inler, or use a player to get him, as Udinese are a rather small club who would probably be interested in some of our players. Beck seems a certainty, as does Bastos, although all this talk about his passport makes you think we've got some non-EU player lined up for that spot. I read Bastos is close to getting a passport though, so he'll most likely arrive aswell. That non-EU spot might just be to keep all options open for a striker/SS, for whom we'll hopefully spend a bit.

Those 3, then hopefully a player like Inler instead of Pirlo and maybe a cheap LB, like Ziegler, and you've got your Juve mercato '11. We'll keep Pepe and one of ( if not both ) Quag/Matri and that's it.

Buffon
Beck-Bonucci-Chiellini-Ziegler/PDC
Krasic-Inler-Melo-Bastos
Matri-Quag/Rossi/insert-big-name

That's probably what we'll see next year, assuming we still have Delneri, without Inler, but with Pirlo or Montolivo there I'm afraid. It's definitely an improvement over this year's side with a few holes filled, but unless that support striker is going to be a game changer, we'd still not be where we want to. I reckon the mercato will be 'ok', we'll fight for CL just like this year, but do a bit better.

@Melo: That's the thing...with Milan, if Ibra gets hurt they still have Pato, Robinho, and Cassano to carry the burden. If Matri gets hurt we have a 36 yr old DP, an always injured Toni/IQ and a retarded Amauri...we would be screwed. And who knows if Quag will be the same after that injury. We really fucked up by not getting Cassano. Man that was fucking STUPID...there was our DP placement for the next 5 years and this summer we could have spent our bank on Benzema or another WC striker...hell, Cassano-Matri would be :tuttosport:. We really screwed ourselves letting trez go...Imagine Cassano-Trez this year. :sergio:

@Ken: IMO if DC isn't our guy this year then we need to just bite the bullet and spend the money to bring Cissokho. If not, then sure Ziegler would be good, an upgrade to DC but not WC. Either we save and spend the money on the right LB when another comes available or suck it up and spend on Cissokho/Coentrao.

It isn't going to do us any good to every year slightly upgrade each player...that shit isn't going to do us any good and eventually the money lost through the years of doing that will be astronomical. IMO this summer we really need to blow our bank account to guarantee a top 3 to get us back in CL. Every year we miss out, the teams in front of us will reap the financial benefits of CL and only improve their squads more and more while we just "slightly upgrade".

It's time to go balls out gung-ho pre FM09 style...Either we do it now or it will take a miracle to get us back to where we want to be.

All top 3 teams, well actually this year for the last time the top 4 teams will have a minimum of 25m from CL to upgrade and improve their squads while we put all of our eggs into Pirlo's, Matri's, Bastos's, and Quag's baskets.

Don't even get me started on Motta and Amauri.

Us not getting Cassano because he is a risk :sergio:
Us letting Trez go when we didn't have replacement :sergio:

Imagine this summer the strikeforce of Cassano, Benzema, Matri, Quagliarella and Del Piero. :tuttosport:
