Someone mentioned Kranjcar but he never plays, and lots of middling/poor teams are interested in him. Some impressive moments when he does play no doubt. But he seems like a project, not an impact player. I've seen numbers from £3-£10 million for him. The high end of that makes me think of Martinez.

For that price especially we could go after my dream player and use 4-2-3-1 effectively.
Who's that dream player? 4-2-3-1 is what I want to play, and I want MFs who can control from middle or out wide to play in it.

How did you come to that conclusion?

When he does get to play the impression I have of him is brilliant moments, not stable play throughout. But he doesn't get to play. And maybe this is snobbish but the clubs most interested in him are the likes of Werder Bremen and Everton. Would he start for us?

He doesn't get to play because of various factors & Tottenham have one of the best midfield in europe imo, it's kinda hard to force your way into the starting lineup when you get injured, can't find your form plus deal with other players hitting their peak. Do you really need an answer for that question, really?

I never asked why he doesn't play, so no, I don't need an answer to a question I never asked lol. My point is he doesn't play. What assumptions can you make about a guy who doesn't play? I like him just fine, if we can get him cheap, do it. But I'm not assuming starter/impact status for this guy just now.

Do you enjoy being thick? Did you not ask if he would start for us in your previous post?

Yeah, I asked whether he would start for us, and you explained why he doesn't start for Spurs. I already knew why he doesn't start for Spurs, and I don't share your apparent assumption that quality in front on another club means starter status on our club, even if our MF isn't as good. I'm totally confused by the tenor of this exchange btw.

If Marotta lets Sahin slip to RM, we should make serious demands of buying 2 of Aguero/Neymar/Hazard/Rossi/Pastore/Sanchez PLUS a WC RB and LB.

Btw, lets assume that we will play 4-3-3 (4-5-1) or 4-2-3-1 next season - whom would be able to play the "alone" striker of Sanchez/Rossi/Neymar/Hazard/Aguero?

IMO, none of them, but lets be honost - Nor Matri, Qtube, DP, Amauri or Iaq is good enough/capable of filling that position!!
