How much do we actually know from this kid, is he really better than our youth players? Of course I think that buying a talent that will need growth, but has potential, is always better than having an old player with a huge contract.
But we don't have a large transfer budget, I believe.
Rodriguez aint gonna cost that much i beleive

True that I agree Juve is not the same, but Chelsea's example shows that the name could be built,or in our case rebuilt,in my opinion.
I really don't want my Juve to have any resemblance with Chelsea.
But you are right on the fact that a super coach can rebuild this team to were it was. But after having Reineri ruin the team, some first- timers and now Zac, I'm beginning to believe that a super coach is out of the question.

I guess the good part about all of this and not having a huge transfer budget is we are going after youth. It could backfire though as our club is notorious for shopping at yard sales.

Of course it won't have any resemblance, but the course of rebuilding the team is the same whether it is Chelsea Juve or any other team.
We're in deep crisis and if we want to attract some big names we need to do with some extra money.

If we grab that excellent coach we made a good course there I think.

Is out own youth so bad than? Was Marchisio the only product of the last few years that can be considered a future star?

I don't follow you. Do you think I was bashing our own youth? If so, not at all. I'm saying we might actually be forced to use our youth more with a smaller budget, no more bargain buys like canna and grosso.

You do realize what youth is considered as in Italy? How many times have we thought there would be more focus on youth products? I get tired just thinking of youth & Juventus in the same sentence.

@byrone: I feel the same, its frustrating. But next year we just can't buy everyone we need. We may have to resort to youth dependency in some areas, regardless of their "age".

Just saying we might be able to buy a great striker after fixing the D, so Immobile might be getting some PT as a result. That's what I mean.

@Ahkmed: in my phone, can't see video :(

I know what you're getting at but until the right coach comes in & drastic changes are made, be prepared for more disappointment.

I wonder if the BOD even ask questions about views on the current batch of players, will youth player be intergrated & utilized, what players would the coach like to purchase & footballing philosophy, preferred tactics & formations.
