I know that Agger would be a much better partner for Giorgio, but I would just love to see a Chiellini-Skrtel duo, just for the fun of seeing them eat the opposing strikers alive.

I'd rather have skill and technique over hardwork and grit anyday. Iaquinta shows heart and desire yet is not a good player. Showing heart means very little in the football world today.
But Robinho is a special case. His extreme lack of heart and care would be a detriment to the side, IMO. Just look at how he reacted at City -- the guy just gave up and immediately wanted to abandon the club. He has a lot of skill, but his demeanor would do us more harm than good.

Robinho makes Zlatan look like a Pavel Nedved

Robinho's first season with City was phenomenal and was arguably one of the top players in the EPL that season, he was in the nominess for player of the season. Problem was Hughes got rid of Jo and Elano(best friend) then had a fall out with Robinho. If you show Robinho some trust and with Diego,Melo and Amauri here he would fit right in.

You support a team in a league where skill and technique is non existent. I can understand why you agree.
Unless you have a basic level of determination and mental strength, you cannot show your technical ability.

I do not think Robinho has that basic level of determination.

He's always shown he is a quality player for Brazil, his first two years at Madrid were a sucess and his first year at City was a sucess. Hardly shows a player who lacked determination to prove himself.

He messed it up for himself at Madrid I accept that but at City other things outside his control sent him on a wayward spiral.

That's the boy. Neymar is the shit.

He's definitely someone we should "take a chance on." The kid can do it all, especially finish. And he's still only 18.

Brazilians want him to go to South Africa instead of Ronnie.
He definitely shows signs of real talent. But wtf is the deal with his teammate/captain with the #200 jersey?

Aww, he lost his best friend. Boo-fucking-who.

Juventus isn't Villarreal where they bring in Argentinians and have fiestas every Friday just to appease their base of players from Buenos Aires.

These are supposed to be professional players, not little girls. To me, Robinho is more of the latter than the former.

We don't need that nonsense on this team.

He thinks he's 200 times the player than anybody else.

I'll side a little with Andy on this one, Nick. There is some truth to this.

He thinks he's 200 times better than his teammates he doesn't like.

That's fine. Just don't be surprised when we find ourselves bending over backwards to make Robinho want to play well at the club.

18 you say? He will be either loaned to Cagliari or half owned with Udinese.
Ugh, too true. Then he'll be dead like Giovinco.
